My Everyday Makeup Style

I know that the trend these days is for everyone to have on a full face of makeup and show their skills to the best of their abilities.. I mean what is makeup without a full on winged liner, contour, and of course a whole lot of highlighter? Personally, I don’t have anything against that kind of look at all because it’s a beautiful look! However, on an everyday basis I can’t get myself to stick to such a look because of how time consuming and static it looks for my routine.

The makeup I like to wear is pretty minimalistic, although some might argue its too much as well. I like to start off with, of course, prepping my skin with a hydrating moisturizer and sunscreen to add that natural glow and luminosity to my face. Sometimes just putting on a cream in the morning is what wakes up my face. Then, I like to add a pop of blush around my cheekbones to add dimension and a flush of color and life. Sometimes I like to add a lip color as well, so I opt for either a really long wearing lipstick or a liquid lipstick.

Ouai Wave Spray | Review

I’m not passionate about hair care in the way that i am about makeup and art, but I had to try out this wave spray purely because it’s created by one of the best hairstylist in the business: Jen Atkin. Whoever gets their hair done by Jen or tries out her products instantly falls in love with their hair and the magical abilities her products have. Personally, I don’t like the feeling of hair spray or stiffness to my hair because it feels unnatural to me. The wave spray has a lot of ingredients that do the job well, especially the rice protein which helps lock the waves into place. Another one of the reasons why I really wanted to give this spray a go was because it has no parabens and isn’t tested on animals.

I can honestly say I fell in love with this palette before I even used it. I was looking to get my hands on the Juvias Place Masquerade palette because of the amazing colors and pigmentation I saw online, but I had to find an alternative instead. This nyx palette was one of the few palettes that had all the bright colors you could want for a fun look. Sure, it doesn’t have the basic black, brown, and white, but I’m glad it doesn’t. It is pure color and matte. Continue reading Nyx Ultimate Eyeshadow Palette: Brights

Face Masks: Love Lettuce

My new obsession is to find the perfect face mask, and I think I found one that i’m going to be using for a long long time. Its no surprise that this mask is from Lush because I find that the Lush products in general are so organic and the closest to nature that you can get. I have pretty dry to sensitive skin, i think, and this mask is really great for that even if it doesnt say it’s meant for dry/sensitive skin. The real reason why I even wanted to try it out was because of its rating and the ingredients. Im sure you’ll feel the same way when you see the ingredients listed:  Continue reading Face Masks: Love Lettuce

Hi everyone! I hope you had a great year, and have a great new year. 2016 was a whirlwind of a year in so many ways for everyone, and 2017 is a new beginning for us to accomplish our goals and learn more about ourselves.

Im sure there are more, but that’s what I remember for now 🙂

For the new year, in 2017, I want to set some goals for myself which I truly want to be able to tick off at the end/middle or beginning of 2017.

  • Upload weekly on my youtube channel

What are your goals for the new year? I hope you achieve them!

Sugar Bear Hair Gummies

I ordered and started the Sugar Bear Hair gummy bears a few weeks ago, and have finished up quite a few of them. I dont know if I feel that theres a change in my hair… but I feel I need to wait a while longer to look for a change. My hair is, however, easier to manage than before. I dont know if that has to do with the bears or not thought. The directions say to have 2 bears a day for 30 days. Thats it. I will say that my hair feels a bit healthier on its good days, and im hoping its because of the bears. Once the bottle is complete, ill be back with a better update and review of the gummies.

Thank you for reading 🙂 Have any of you tried these? Or do you know of any hair vitamins that worked for you?

How I clean my brushes/sponges…

I admit I don’t clean my brushes as much as I probably should, but when I do clean them it’s always the same way. I usually clean my brushes once they start looking like they’re holding too much product to perform well. Also the color gives it away. I love usuing a little rubbery plastic type brush cleaner because it’s super efficient and it keeps my hands clean too. The products I use to clean my brushes are the beauty blender solid soap, and sometimes I’ll use a creamy hand soap or cleansing oil. The beauty blender solid is the fastest thing though… it’s by far my favorite right now!

What do u guys use to clean ur brushes/sponges? 🙂
